you know, here is a funny thing - I spent 25 years in the US Navy fighting the cold war against russia. in that time i never saw one russian. not one. i saw their ships, submarines, aircraft, and space vehicles. but i saw no russians. and now, years later, i see russians all over youtube. everyone loves dash-cams, and sincce the meteor, we have all been enjoying the pandemoneum that is russian traffic. but here's a thing - i have had to watch some youtube viedos to help me learn a few things for vehicles and home maintenance and i find that russians make some of the best. simple, accurate, to the point, and always with some kind of creative engineering. and so the hell with the cold war, the navy, and suspicion. nice vid, my russian friend. thanks.

I like to add some oil into the new filter before screwing it in place to help eliminate dry start.

I have an '88 240 DL. I need to replace the metal exhaust hose that's right beside the oil filter (with zip ties to keep it tight). I haven't been able to find one. I think a trip to the junk yard may be necessary.

They always told me to use 10W40 at the oil change, I see you are using 5W30 which is for newer cars

i got a 740 volvo GLE two days ago, automatic
it says in the manual that i neet to put ATF dexron IID (i bought dexron III that is compatible) in the engine, is the same procedure as in your video?
also says in the manual that i have to put the same oil in power steering
