Madam, I was exposed to a needle prick from a patient in the clinic who had no symptoms. The patient was quickly tested for the immunodeficiency virus and the test showed a faint line when using the liquid substance in the package. The line did not appear when the liquid in the package was not used. The patient was tested after two and a half months. Using the fourth generation ELISA technology in the laboratory, the test showed that it was negative for the virus on three samples. What do you think, am I safe?

This test can be accurate anytime btwn 45- 90 days but it's recommended to test after 90 days to get accurate results

Doctor am worried i tested for HIV with my partner but we didn't have the buffer the liquid buffet i think spilled so we used drinking water instead there was only one line for both of us on the controll line, my question is that a valid test, and can it be a false negative
