When my mom was designing, back in the 70's, she always wallpapered the ceilings. This has a great throw-back vibe that feels comfortable & livable.

I cannot tell you how relaxed I felt when seeing this room. I could design my needlework while singing and listening to music here. The other rooms are certainly beautiful. This room is where I would be solaced.

At start I thought it would not come out so great but damn!

The room looks so bright and fun! It looks complete but doesnt seem too cluttered and full which is a nice thing so the owners could add their own touches and experiences and memories in it.

The ceiling paper is to HEAVY . It brings/drags it down and it LOOKS so much SMALLER the room.

I SO wanted to love this room because the designers are darling! I'm so glad others appreciate it. Clearly it is tasteful, just not mine. I do like that white "suede" wallpaper.

I like the idea and color of the wallpaper, but there is a clear "stripe" in the design of it that doesn't match up when the columns taper. The OCD part of me would become stressed by this.

I love this room but my ocd wants me to push that upper vinyl shelf in the middle to line up with the window. Lol

The completely skewed placement of the storage cabinet in relation to the windows above, or to the vertical partitions in the rack bellow, looks either very contrived or just plain sloppy bad design.. The cabinets are cools looking, but there is no aesthetic or functional purpose for the position of the top tier, as is now, or for the position of the objects placed upon it or next to it. IThe cabinet's top tier could very well be placed asymmetrically to the center of the windows, but still fit within the grid - it would look more coherent to the design. Don't feel that this pattern wallpaper does much for the room either, or in relation to the other wallpaper.This is definitively not my favorite room design in this Nashville dream house.

It was disappointing seeing the designer do all the talking about staining instead of letting the carpenter explain his own craft.
