why is it so hard to find out how much a venue ACTUALLY costs? pricing lists are so confusing and i feel like they never give a direct answer!

Super keen on how to become a wedding planner part 2.
Biggest questions are:
How did you gain your first 5 or so clients?
How do you go with securing clients with only of had planned your own and friends weddings. Like how did you feel comfortable offering a service you hadnt really been doing professionally yet ?
Do you recomend only offering month of coordination to get started?
What are your best stratagies in the actual managing of behind the scenes planning as a planner? Would love even a whole video on the nitty gritty of that question
For gaining work experience learning from other planners, what is the best way to increase chances of them agreeing to take you under their wing even for just 1 wedding?
I would also love to see a video of behind the scenes wedding planning. Like a week of little snippets of meetings, research, ect.

I think people who skip through the video to get to the “Info” are the type of people who don’t really care about others! During the intro is where we get to know who you are in a way so I say keep the intro’s! They can skip through all they want but us people who what to know who we are listening to appreciate them!

I never noticed you having a long intro?! I love it how it is! Video request: rehearsal dinners, what the heck even is this, what’s the timeline for that, where is it hosted?? Help 😭

Could you make a video about using restaurants as a venue? We are considering this option, but would like to know the pros and cons. Thank you!

JAMIE! Please do a video on how to deal with problem bridesmaids!!! How do I get my maids to take me seriously? How can I be firm with decisions and not sound like a total bridezilla? Do you have any advice on how to deal with any form of bridesmaid related issues? Do you have any of your own experiences? I am very desperate 😩

Have you done videos on bridal showers, wedding showers, and all the little parties and events before the wedding like that? Are there any wedding trends you love/hate?

Yes bring on Mr finger guns! You guys are such an adorkable couple! And don't you dare shorten your intros, they're a ray of sunshine and a gift to humanity!

I didn't know American weddings had such a short timeline for the dinner, I suddenly understand how so many newlyweds miss out on eating. Scandinavian, and I think most European weddings, have at least two hours of sitting down if not longer. You have all the speeches (so many speeches), the games, the cake cutting and obligatory dances.

It's a real job keeping things together during dinner so you have one or two friends be the toast madame/master to run the show. They literally tell the guests when they can go out for a toilet break or smoke. It's the toughest job of them all cause a shitty MC will mess up the whole evening, like at my cousins wedding where half the guests missed either the first dance or the cake cutting cause the MC didn't tell us when we should be back. They also had a buffet which was absolute mayhem. Luckily our toast madame has the look of an angel but the disciplinarian skills of a catholic nun, me and Daniel will be able to just relax and let her run the show 😂

In my case, a destination wedding is a lot cheaper. My fiancé’s family is huge and they all live in Puerto Rico. Airfare is only needed for us and my parents. The church, the food, and the reception space are all cheaper over there too. So it ends up saving us a lot of money. But I guess it really depends on the size of your wedding and how far away the destination is. In our case, were just inviting close friends and family. Thank you for all of your advice. You’re amazing.

Love it as always! I don’t mind your long intros(they don’t seem long to me). I like longer YouTube videos in general, but that’s just a personal preference

I always wanted to know where the bridal party puts their phones during the wedding ceremony, Like after the wedding do they leave it in the cars or the rooms they get ready in? I also see that pockets in wedding dresses is a thing now I think it's cool

I really need tips on planning a wedding with two languages and cultures! I’m English & he’s Norwegian and we’re trying to use both languages and traditions and it’s so hard!

On RSVP though, only ONE (1), yes 1, person RSVPed for my wedding. (To be fair with our guests, we're in the Philippines and people are not so used to that... maybe?). The guestlist was driving me nuts 2 weeks before the wedding so WE (my husband and I) decided to let the invitations do their jobs with limiting the guests according to the number of seats mentioned on their invites. We had 35 people in excess, but the venue was gracious enough to wave the corkage fee for the extra food my in-laws brought in! So everyone lived Happily Ever After. :) AND Jamie, I never stopped watching your videos after I got married last January 26th. Love you to bits. <3
