What Remains of Edith Finch is definitely one of my favourite short plays. The mystery of the family really drew me in, and I still love to revisit it from time to time. The story really came alive in an interactive style.

I'd suggest Superliminal too. Didn't take too long to finish but man was it cool. Was as blown away by the mechanics as when playing Portal for the first time.

Call of Duty: Warzone. I can set aside 4-5 hours to download it, play for about 180 seconds and then promptly uninstall it, confident that I've got all the enjoyment I'll ever receive from the game.

'To the Moon'! Clocks in about 4 hours and will have you tearing up at the end.

The Stanley Parable has an ending that takes FOUR HOURS to complete. I know this because the game times you while you're doing what's necessary to complete it (pressing two buttons over and over and over and over and over...)

Emily is Away would be on my list. A perfectly pitched flashback to the MSN Messenger generation with a story that hit me right in the feels

Oxenfree absolutely blew me away when I first played it. Loved the story and was totally engrossed by the great art direction and sound design too. One of my favorite indiegames ever now.

I was expecting Inside at 1, but I am pleasantly surprised.
Tbf, that game is not actually 1, 5h long, it's meant to be finished multiple times, but that's still fair to me, it deserves all the praise in the world.

Also, would suggest Pikuniku for the list, that game is not mentioned enough.

When I think of “bite-sized games, ” the first to come to mind is “Journey” for the PS3/PS4. After seeing it on a Top 10 best PS3 games list, I decided to play it, and was amazed at the art, creativity, and simplicity of the game, yet was disappointed that I reached that faraway peak in around 3 hours. I definitely recommend it for anyone with a PlayStation 3 or 4.

I've beat 8 out of the 10 games listed here. I recommend them all. I don't have as much time to game as I used to...so maybe that is why I played so many of these...

I know in many places everyone and their mums played all the games in the Orange Box but where I'm from PC gaming is not such a big thing so I first heard of Portal many years later and I never get to play it becuase I didn't want to pour 8 - 12 hours on an old game everyone and their mums have already spoiled, but now knowing is a sub 4 hour game I might finally try it for the first time.

All the "supermassive games" Little hope, man of Medan and Until Dawn takes about 5-6 to complete and they are fantastic.
