I was looking after Alfie, my friend's Patterdale Terrier cross last night. He complained about my choice of viewing, and made me search for something better, until we found this. We had to watch it three times. He told me that it's the best film he's ever seen [in all his one and a half years of life], and that he's going to be a hero just like this, when he grows big enough.

This episode felt like a fever dream when i was like 5 or smth. I know I watched this back then. I had thought of it being a weird episode. Then I had lost this video.


When I was 10, I had a dream of trains having faces. I then remembered that it was an episode, I looked for the episode for years on end to finaly see what it really was.

Believe or not montana the blue one is actually based off of a steam engine that was operational in 1936 for the new york central and it was the streamlined k5 4-6-2 and a up 49er 4-6-2 and the red engine redmond it is a up 49er 4-8-2
