Gunsmith Organization Hack!

I almost had it under control (chronic pack rat), and I made a purchase of a bunch of gun related stuff a guy had from his late brother's estate. My work space. has yet to recover, too good to throw away and too easy walk past it. I feel a massive purge coming on, the scary thing is, I am long enough in tooth, if I don't deal with it, someone is going to clean out a ton of good stuff and I can't take it with me. I did have it binned and semi-organized prior to the windfall. And yes I hate that too !!!!

I’ve known numerous gunsmiths over the years and not one of them was organized. They must spend half their time looking for the right tool. 😂

I have those boxes on shelves EVERYWHERE in my shop.
I just write what's in it right on the box with a Sharpie.

This is actually a really good idea for anything you are working on especially things that have small parts and multiple parts and thr small stuff wont get lost.

I've been collecting cigar boxes. I can't see through them, but I can read stickers stuck on them.
