Ontario Amber Alert (VERY SCARY TONES)

The NPAS tones aren't how they sound on my TV at all. Goosebumps, anyone?

(Update: Child was found safe not long after this. This is mainly to show why Amber Alerts in Canada are scary.)

The child was found alive. She was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries and released shortly after.

When I hear this, it's very terrifying... your stomach gets empty all that adrenaline in you. You start breathing heavy, your heart rate goes really high. Your in shock and terrified. Can't even imagine that this could happen one day. I have nightmares of this showing up on my tv.

Home with people in daytime: I wouldn't mind. But the USAs sounds freakier to me.

Okay, so I was in my room alone, and In my thirteen years of life, I’ve never heard an amber come on. My radio was on, because music helps me stay calm and fall asleep. But then in a middle of a song, it goes quiet. Then this comes on. I start shaking, and crying. I was so horrified because I didn’t know what it was and had no idea what to do. Then a few minutes past and another came on. I legit couldn’t sleep.

Shh. I know I’m a baby I just get nervous with these things.

Amber alerts scare me to the point of heart attacks. when i was a kid growing up watching disney channel i heard this so much that it would scare me so badly that i would be annoyed by this to the point wanted to watch my show so badly

Last night the same type of amber alert tone came up on my tv, while I was HOME ALONE. It made me jump. Why can't they change the tone? I know it's so that it can get people's attention, but it can be toned town.
