This is a taste test/review of Red Bean, Green Tea and Taro Japanese Style Mochi. Jason mailed these to us from Maryland. He bought them at 99Ranch for $3.99 each. They were made in Taiwan by Yuki & Love.

Oh I adore mochi it's in my top 3 fave desserts lol. I MUCH prefer ice cream filled over the traditional paste filled variety though. Green tea and strawberry are my two faves. Taro is ok but I prefer taro flavour for boba tea. You guys would probably like Hawaiian butter mochi, it tastes like cake. You can also get mochi filled with whole fruits, cream/mousse, ganache or fudge brownies etc btw.

I would devour the red bean but I wouldn’t be able to do the taro or green tea. I love mochi though. The texture. 👌🏼

One of my favorites! Commercially prepared are not so good, in my opinion, yes, I am spoiled. I am lucky enough to have a Japanese girlfriend who makes them for special occasions and she always makes me some for my birthday. She is slowly teaching us how to prepare traditional Japanese fare are home.
