I had one of these in the 1970's - it was my favorite bike. Triumph 500's & 650's never stood a chance! Great bike to ride, wish I had one now. Thanks for posting.

I believe you got the top speed wrong by over 10mph. both Bike and Motorcycle Mechanics road tested the 350 at 103mph, , the 250 would've been around 90-94mph. but a great bike, I had the 1973 RD350 (with the 6 speed box unlike the 72 models 5 speed box)
