Hi!I have a Kamakura Sea Master 7*50. Excellent exit pupill value. Great focus. I have it on a Three Legged Thing tripod and it works fantastic. But I have now decided to buy the Celestron Skymaster 15*70. I made up my mind after listening to several reveiews regarding these binoculars here on YouTube.I would like to thank you for your video and good luck with your channel in the future.

Kind regards

I liked this video a lot, along with other videos. How about you do some budget telescopes next?
I would really appreciate it. 😊

I've never failed to see the Galilean moons in any pair of binoculars that were 7x35 or bigger! I have an old pair of 8x50 Zeiss binos I love, as well as 8x56 and 7x50 glasses which I was fortunate enough to be able to use into my fifties (haven't tried them for a while), and my go-to 10x50's. And of course the 15x70 Skymasters you mention.

Thanks for this detailed review! 3 years later, I’m considering a purchase of the 15x70 Skymaster Pro ED. I have already a 7x50, 8x50, (both porros), 10x42 (roof) and a Canon 10x30 IS to see what that was all about. My favorite though, is my 7x50 Porro (Steiner Marine), which at the time on sale was well under $200. It doesn’t fog up and has beautiful clear wide views. I want something a bit “more” and yet cannot and do not want to spend a lot. My best option are the sky masters and I’ll go higher to try the Pro ED, just to get best glass I can afford. Not sure if I’ll like them or use them as much as my 7x50’s though. I may need a 10 or 12x 50 if I find the 15x 70 is too big/heavy for a grab and go in my backyard. I live near the ocean, clear skies are sometimes short, until marine layer rolls in. Not much time for a ‘scope to cool down and then get much use, although I do like my NexStar 6SE very much.

Thankyou for sharing this video. I didn't realize about the adjustment for each viewing side, other then the focuser. I have the celestron 15 x 70 bins on an orion tripod, and the set up seems good. I also have an 8" apertura dob, and celestron omni xlt 102 mm refractor. I find that the bins are just as good as my omni. The Dob is very heavy, but I get great views of the sky. Are there binoculars out there that exceed the ones I have for quality? I wish we had an astronomy club near us, but we do not, and I cannot find anyone interested in forming one so far. I appreciate all I can learn. I am a beginner, even tho this has been a hobby for decades for me. I also love to lay on our hammock and view the night time sky, where we live out in the country. Please keep your learning videos coming!

Thank you for sharing. I got the chance to see a rocket launch in 2018. Memorable experience. I shared a pretty cool montage of the trip to my page.

Thank you for this video. A few months ago I purchased Celestron 25x70 binoculars and unfortunately, I have a double image, when star gazing at night. When I test them in the daylight, they are fine. I can't figure out this problem (or is it my eyes!!)? So alas, when I use them at night, I keep one eye closed. On the positive side, I have seen Jupiter (including the 4 primary moons) and Saturn - both for the first time in my life!

Thank you so much for this video. I've been researching a beginner telescope for a month now. Didn't even consider binoculars since I'm new to astronomy I overlooked it.
I'll get the 15x70s and save up for a solid dob.

Great video! I am keen on getting started with stargazing and am glad I found your channel. I am contemplating buying the Celestron 71256 G2 10x50 Wide angle Porro binocular. Will this be good for viewing the planets and deep space objects such as the Orion nebula and Andromeda? Or, is the Skymaster a minimum requirement? Will be grateful for your advice. Thank you!

Crisp and apt information. Thank you very much. I have a question, which software is the one you show to gauge the Angular FOV. I would love to use it to compare the binoculars, before i buy one

Can these type of binoculars be used for regular viewing on land or are they best for astronomy? Thanks.

I want to buy myself a pair of astrobinoculars Bresser Spezial Astro 25×70. I think it will be a good option. Greetings from Moldova!
