1972 Datsun Restored Pickup - Frankman Motor Company

This is an excellent Datsun pickup that has had a recent Body on Restoration and has load of new parts on it with a fit and finish that leaves nothing to be desired.

The most notable work is the recent repaint in a dark teal poly, along with a fully redone interior and dash. It's not the big pieces that will get you on these old Datsuns, its all the little things that aren't necessarily expensive, but are very difficult to source.

These Trucks are great, being as bare bones as you can pretty well get, it also means they have nothing to really go wrong. This truck is in show condition and has the remaining project of freshening up the engine bay that the next owner can do to bring it to 100%, or leave it and drive as is, with a cosmetically ready to go restored Datsun pickup!

Love the looks and design of the 521 series Datsun trucks. If only. If only they could be brought back into production once again. Nice paint job on this little girl, however, hopefully you will paint the engine department as you can see surface rust on the inner fenders and underneath the cowel. These 521 series Datsun trucks were all extremely beauutiful in looks, beautiful in gasoline savings and mileage, easy to work on, all round great little trucks.

Dad bought a 71 new that was nicknamed the Motorized Wheelbarrow. I miss that ride.

Hard to believe these were around $2000 new. New Frontier is 15x the price.

These were neat trucks, but without an overdrive gear, you wouldn't want to be making any long highway trips.

Wish Nissan would build these little girls again. We need them gas prices are headed towards five dollars a gallon these days.

Reminds me of my dad's but waaay nicer, his was solid but had scaled az paint, mechanically sound as well. Just kinda ugly 🙃
