They are questioning its democratic validity, as no UK MP has had access to the negotiating documents. This week a European petition against TTIP has reached a record 2 million signatures, a few days ahead of a crucial vote on the deal by MEPs in the European parliament.

TTIP is the perfect example of why we cannot give up our sovereignty to the EU. As much as we are disillusioned with our parties, the EU cares even less what we think and is just as capable of making crooked back room deals against our interests.

TTIP seems like a good idea to get the moribund economies in Europe growing again. Less protectionism more trade is what creates wealth. Never mind the liberal intelligentsia and their left wing bias.
