Would love to see them race on a lot more dangerous tracks that wouldn't be reasonable for humans to race in. Really curvy tracks in mountains etc but done at extremely high speeds in all sorts of weather.

The Matrix was a documentary, but they got a few parts wrong. The robots took over not through violent conquest, but through slowly and peacefully replacing humans jobs. And those small pods people live in are actually voluntary as is being jack into the Matrix. VR Goggles will advance to the point where you just get an implant in the back of your neck and plug in there, no headset needed. Those pods are the evolution of tiny 16 sqr ft "Micro unit" apartments popping up in big cities around the world.

I love what they are doing. One thing I’m not sure of that he said is related to the sum of experience argument of “even a 17 year old driver”. From what we can discern based on our R&D, our AI is amazing us compared to our human driving testers— many of whom have driven and/or raced for decades. We are currently doing most training and testing via the simulator, since we can typically do 100’s of years of training and learning optimization in just weeks. Anyway, I think that we may all be surprised how long it actually takes for this rapidly accelerating rate of AI mapping to physical control systems to show broad-based superhuman promise.

I think this is cool, but it's gonna become boring once all the AI are perfect. It's fine and exciting for now. I hope the end of the video means we'll be seeing Roborally sometime in the future

AI can obviously be a better, more precise driver than a human, and would be cool to see an all-AI race one day.
But conventional human-driven vehicle races should remain untouched forever.
There's nothing as challenging and fascinating as people competing vs people, with the best of their skills.
The human factor cannot and shall not be taken away from motor racing.
As long as the two realities coexist, I'll be ok with it.

Sorry, but I think there’s no excitement in seeing robots race in real life.
