Og Clone wars was amazing. Seeing anakin get knighted after going from his ep 2 look to his ep 3 look was a great use of continuity and seeing his vision of vader in the final story arc was amazing.

Plus Grievous is terrifying, Yoda and Mace are hilariously overpowered and seeing the short stories followed by longer ones that all led into ep 3 was the best.

Only three people have watched the 2D clone wars mini series? That was hugely popular in the day. It had two phases.

the 2002 Clone Wars series was made by the legendary Genndy Tartakovsky, you know the one who made Dexter's laboratory and Samurai Jack, and it was very popular
not to mention its Grievous introduction was epic as hell

“There are about 2-3 people who’ve seen Clone Wars 2003 and thank the maker I’m not one of them”
“I know Tales of The Jedi contradicts the novel but whichever is canon is ok”
Much to learn, you still have.

Honestly Clone Wars had a few missteps when ya think about it.

Seems odd that you do a video like this after admitting you haven’t even watched/completed some of these shows and leave out some of the shows that mean a lot to some people.

I respect your opinion on Andor, but for me, it’s a top 2 show
I mean, yes it’s dark and gritty and barely feels like SW but damn, Disney pulled off some of their greatest work
I love Cassian and Kino and the tone they choose ; no bad jokes, heartwarming moments and amazing character writing
Finally, I love how it followed the Rogue One vibe, more mature and dark but I think it’s good that SW have a lot of different movies and shows that feel differents from one to another cuz everyone can find something to like in this incredible universe !

You are INSANE for deciding to do this list before completing rebels

2D clone Wars was amazing! It was made by the guy who made Samurai Jack and Dexter Laboratory. I really recommend it

Nah you trippin, Andor was every bit Star Wars as anything else. Just cause it didn’t have lightsabers or cameos don’t mean that the vibe didn’t feel like Star Wars

The dumbest take is that “Andor is not like Star Wars because it’s different”. Then the Mandalorian is not like Star Wars either, because it’s a western show?
This isn’t fucking Marvel. Star Wars has some amazing world building, and the Andor show explores exactly that. Just like ANY other show. But somehow it’s not Star Wars even though there’s a show like the Bad Batch that isn’t about Jedi vs Sith or with any fancy light saber duels. This is beyond the dumbest take yet in Star Wars right next to enjoying the sequels.

In my personal opinion, "Andor" stands out as my favorite Star Wars live-action series due to its distinctiveness. While many fans argue that it doesn't capture the typical Star Wars feel, I don't believe that every Star Wars production must revolve around epic battles, lightsaber duels, and cameo appearances. In fact, I think these elements represent only a superficial aspect of what a Star Wars show can offer.

While I don't wish for every Star Wars series to follow the same style as Andor, I do hope to see the franchise explore new storytelling approaches that break away from the familiar conventions and surface-level tropes we've seen in most other live-action shows so far. Andor stood out to me because it boasted the finest writing of any live-action Star Wars production and delivered a gritty and grounded narrative that isn't always present in the Star Wars universe. It's something I didn't know I wanted, and now want more of.

Tbh. In terms of Boba Fett, he was never a ruthless cold blooded killer of a bounty hunter. He was a bounty hunter known for simply doing his job. And never anything more. Even shown in Jedi Survivor when you meet him. Knowing full well turbing in a jedi would give him more credits hed know what to do with, he lets you go because you arent the reason he was hired.

Correction: Asajj Ventress came from 2003's Clone Wars, not 2008's The Clone Wars.

I don’t think the 2d clone wars lives up to the actual clone wars show but I thought it was good and it had some things I wish was included in the clones wars show

I think Rebels is one of the best arcs in all of Star Wars and it’s really paying off now, especially with the Ahsoka series coming out soon

I don’t mind that Andor was lower on the list since the shows above it are all really good too but the reasons you critiqued it are the exact reason I really like it. Yea you could just watch another series like you said but I like seeing these characters who aren’t just OP warriors having to deal with everyday life in the empire. And also seeing the inter workings of the early rebellion is nice to see
