Been a huge fan since day one. I am 41 years old single mother living in CA I am hoping to retire at 50 if things keep going well for me.¿ Bought my first house last month paid in cash and I can't be proud more that I am rn; I'm so happy i made good decisions about my finances that changed me forever;) ❤️🎊

You're a natural born charmer, Beth, and your house reflects it. This is gracious living, with every detail carefully thought out. And what a perfect little French seaside town - if you drew up a wish list, this would be it!

What a wonderful tour and what a beautiful town. I would never want to leave. Your house is gorgeous. You have exquisite taste-great job! Thank you for showing it all to us.

Beth, if you cut out paper templates of the birds you can tape them up in various flight patterns without committing a hole in the wall.

Your home is absolutely beautiful Beth! It’s elegant, it’s timeless, it’s not over done which is refreshing and I think that’s what gives it a relaxing feel. As for the shiny brass birds, my suggestion would be to leave them outside and let the elements take care of them. Hopefully the weather will make them look a little more aged over time.

Wow ! Thank you for sharing your lovely home. Just a thought on the birds - when I moved into my turn of the century home in CT, I found little birds mounted on the side of the water tower. They were all flying up to the sky. You could place them on your out buildings, this will also allow the brass to weather. All flying upward!

My reason for that is people will be constantly bumping their heads on it if they are trying to relax. The shutters are FABULOUS! So VERY practical!!!

Such a lovely home. Calm, clean and fresh. I love the French doors and shutters, the colour, and love the fruit trees too. I was thinking about the brass birds. I would hang them outside on the wall where the outside shower is. Like outside wall art. And a row of hooks to hang your towel and clothes up while you shower. Or a hat, beach bag. I lived at the beach and had a shelf to put soap and shampoo/conditioner on. A rail, and shelf for shoes. I didn't like all my things getting wet when I took an outside shower. We liked to shower outside sometimes to enjoy the view of the sea and wild bush. All of it is beautiful. Thank you.

Beautiful home. I would either somehow patina the birds to make them look old or ditch them completely. I love all the diff pieces of art.

You can never have too many toilets! I'd never seen such a configuration, but our master bathroom is like a Jack and Jill bath. There are two bathrooms joined by a big shower. It's so indulgent. Now my husband and I don't know how we shared a bathroom for 35 years! You brought some "America" to France. We brought some "France" by way of Japan to our bathrooms. We now have bidet seats on each toilet. Game changer.

We found our mature espalier fruit trees at San Gabriel Nursery here in So Cal. It's a fabulous 100 year old nursery owned by a dear Japanese-American family. Just visiting there will take your breath away. We have our espalier's growing against our detatched garage. Lovely

My dad is a permanent resident of France, he's near St. Tropez... It's just sad he's unlike all other fathers who would bring his family with him... One day I'll visit France! 💕 It's in my bucket list.

I love the birds and would hang them outside on the wall by the pool. Let the weather do what it will do. I think they are adorable!

I toast your success! A little money brings pleasure to life. Solid doors are so satisfying! The two paintings at 13:20 are superb.

16:28 That "antique pot" with the flowers, wasn't it a container for "gros sel" (coarse salt) before? My mom uses a similar pot in the kitchen where she keeps the gros sel with a small wooden spoon tucked in it. It's nice to see how nicely you have transformed the house and made it so inviting! Bravo, Madame !
