A couple years ago there was a situation that happened late at night where an officer showed up at our doors… they asked if we opened our car doors, when we said no in confusion, she said well that’s weird, then proceeded to say go and check to see if anything was stolen… well luckily it wasn’t but as I was on my way to check, I looked down the street and literally… everyone’s car doors were all open like someone was able to copy and mimic every single frequency of every single car on the street, but only did it to test it out

Rolling codes can be defeated. Basically, with some cars if you send 5 consecutive codes it makes the receiver think the remote got desynchronized, so it resets the rolling code counter

Actually if you’re capturing the code from the keyfob in a location where the car doesn’t get the signal then the code your captured (even on a rolling code system) will still work. This is because let’s say there’s 5 slots for the rolling codes to be in. The car has used codes 1 and 2 so far out of the 5 and is waiting for the 3 code to be sent. If the key used codes 1 and 2 and is trying to send the 3rd, 4th, and 5th still… then that means it can capture the code from the keyfob that the car hasn’t used and use it (but can only use it once). unless you capture all the unused codes (3, 4, & 5) then you can open the doors once or lock them once or start them once. But you don’t know where you’re at with what list it’s on and the best bet is to just scan the code away from the car where it won’t receive the next code it’s looking for- capture that code- emulate it to unlock, lock, or start the car

That's actually one of the biggest benefits to getting a flipper. Cause my car fob SUCKS. I would prefer a centralized device. Keep the other keys home as a spare

That keyfob you showed isn't an OEM ford remote. That was an aftermarket system installed in the car, like an autostart. Those are childs play to bypass. The stock Ford system uses rolling code. You defeated the car through a substandard backdoor.

If you jam the signal at the car while capturing the frequency, it can be used to unlock a vehicle with rolling codes.

actually, you can technically open cars with rolling code too, but the unlock signals are one use, after that they wont be able to unlock it. My tip, go with the key either out of range or obstruct the signal from reaching the car. then, copy the signal, and bravo! you just got yourself a 1 time key use.

guys if your car has rolling code you better not do this i did it and destroyed my key. Later the car started to turn on the alarm i tried to unlock it with the key and its like 300bucks for a new key my car is a VW multivan T6 so defenetly don't try this.

Might not be a bad idea to wrap your keyfob in tinfoil before going to sleep if you're worried about someone stealing your car with it. Also, line your wallet with it for some rfid protection for your cards.

Friend tried this on my 07 civic and the flipper couldn’t detect a frequency. It got a frequency from a newer civic but it was rolling.
