Hi! This pattern is great I am about to start it! After 5:12, how do you sew the part that you have pinned through the gap (the hem to the lining)?

hey, thank you sm for the pattern and tutorial. a few questions if you can help me out, at 4:05 do we pull on the thread of the top and bottom seam both, or just the top?, 2. once you turn the skirt inside out 4:24 is the lining and face fabric right side facing each other?, 3. when you’re pinning the lining & face together to sew 4:30, do we just sew together the fabrics or the elastic as well? or does the elastic stay free?

How many pieces do you cut for the lining can you use denim fabric

It would have been so much easier to follow if you had used a different colour for the lining so we could see more clearly what you're doing when you join the parts together. But thank you for creating this video and pattern...I still hope to try it!
