To Control Inflation/ To restrict Money Supply RBI can:
1. Increase Bank Rate, Repo Rate, Reverse Repo Rate, Purchase Marketable Securities, Use Selective Credit Control, Increase Marginal Requirement .


To Control Deflation RBI will follow reverse pattern of the above mentioned methods .
