The big difference between England and countries like Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal is that, although they have the same weight of expectation, they actually all manage to win a trophy every now and then. England NEVER do.

If you have the face for earning millions of pounds for playing with a ball, then you have the face for accepting critics

Other nationalities also criticise their team heavily, you don’t feel it because you only understand English 😂

England tactics are poor that is just the main issue.

The journalist who asked Harry the question knew this would make headlines from Kane's response. Kane should have just answered with 'they're entitled to their opinion, next question please'...instead, he played right into the medias hands. Daft bloke.

What David Beckham went through after he got a red card in the world cup against Argentina is 10 times as bad as what the English players now go through with the fans and media. English players need a stronger mentality to match their individual talents and then maybe they will finally win something

Kane handled it well? He literally just said Linekar of all people should know how hard it is to win a tournament with England as he never won one himself or made a final lol

As someone that actually listened to what Lineker said, he wasn’t harsh enough.

Everyone calling out craig for not winning anything is part of the problem. You act like the whole world can't see there's something wrong with England. Discrediting the rightful criticism only enables the poor performances. Maybe this is why England is mediocre. Argentina, Brazil, France, Spain, Germany qhen they don't play well or when they lose, they have to take it. And their pressure is much greater than England's.

Journalists are just broadcasting publicly what the supporters are saying.

These guys and other journalists are so fake. Listen to kanes whole interview. He is not complaining and he absolutely is accepting it, he’s just saying there’s no reason to panic yet and that they will work on improving things. Why are they attacking him lol

lol wait till Italy gets knocked out early and go and ask those players about the criticism from not only the media but even worse the fans

Na, no one hammers their players like they do in England. They're either "best in the world" or "utter dog sh$t"

Of all the people, Gareth Southgate is the manager and Harry Kane is the captain.. there's more fight, more desire, a better plan and even more entertainment when I take a dump.

All he had to say was ‘just because you didn’t win anything doesn’t mean we won’t’.

I guess the difference is that England always say "it's coming home" hence the attention/criticism is more towards them😂

Harry Kane wasn’t referring to you Craig burley. He was talking about ex England players who know how it feels to disappoint in tournaments
