A fun item for a very serious issue for us all. On the one hand we have the high prices for new models, not just locos but also for rolling stock. On the other hand, not just eBay and Facebook but also TMC, Rails, Clarks and a whole host of independent model retailers offering items which may or may not be operational or worth the money. The latter is an area where the input of Jenny, Sam and other experts could provide guidance for those of us who simply cannot afford to buy new, but worry about wasting money on second hand rubbish.
