On the 2 April 1982, Argentine forces invaded the British overseas territory of the Falkland Islands, sparking one of the largest major conflicts since WW2.

Lest we forget the sacrifices made during the conflict and every conflict before or since. Brave doesn’t cover it. We remember always ❤️

No glory in war - I read that the soldiers sent to the Falklands by Galtieri were abused and tortured horrifically by their own officers. And I was told by someone whose son was in the British Army that his son had PTSD because he had been ordered to bayonet 14 years old boys - Galtieri's conscripts. No one wins in a war except the weapons dealers - Denis Thatcher did very nicely out of the conflict with a £90 billion arms deal according to the Daily Mail (Oct 2013) Why do you think the politicians call it a sacrifice? Soldiers (the poor man's son on both 'sides') are sacrificed to their satanic greed - Pure evil. No glory in war! No more war!

We Shall Never Forget, a Few of the Lads that gave the ultimate Sacrifice I new 🙏🙏😇😇💎💎💪🏻💪🏻👏👏🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧✌️✌️👌👌
In my years after 1982 in the Navy I meet and talked to quite a few Royal Marines and Navy Lads that were there, many are still suffering to this Very Day. My Totally Respect to You All, as for many of them it was hand to hand combat in the Dark. I was Honoured to know You and chat to You, I still make donations etc to this day and always will do as it’s only the General Public and us Veterans to look after our Veterans, never the people who send us to these places. Let’s never forget it was the troops on the ground who won victory in the Falklands and most definitely not any of the commanding officers in charge of the conflict. As those in charge were clueless as we all know to this day and unfortunately the Lads on the Ground and at sea in the early days knew then to well. I will visit the National Arboretum to pay my Respects to The Lads I Knew and to All, to read you names and many tears in my eyes. Rest In Peace Bothers In Arms.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏, “may you roam the Grass planes of Heaven forever young”🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
