Winter storm drenches Southern California coast and valleys

I was coming down the 57 at about 6:45am and we all hit a huge puddle in the construction area. The water just covered the car thank goodness no one hit the breaks and traffic was light. On the way home it was raining so hard from Anaheim to Glendora I could barely see out the windshield. Be safe everyone if your on the roads. ❤

The reason for the flooding on 710 is the drains are neglected .

I stay at 55mph or below during hard rain. The last thing you want to do is hydroplane off the road or onto other vehicles.

Why didn’t caltrans have the drains cleared before hand. That’s their job put in the over time I didn’t see anyone working during these conditions. Wtf BE PROACTIVE NOT REACTIVE

Same exact spot an hour ago around 7:20 am two car collided together a white Camaro and a white Honda civic
I just came home from graveyard shift and exactly by flourance under the bridge

Typical Caltrans they don't clean the drains till it gets clogged

Black ice is common in New Mexico. It's very dangerous and the best way to stay safe is to drive slower than the speed limit and expect all puddles to be black ice. Stay safe LA

The big problem with that water is when those Teslas flood out and catch fire. They take hours to put out

Flooded roads are expected when they are constructed to be like cement water ways, and nowhere for the water to flow off and move.
