The simplest way to explain how Samos could be Keira’s father would be for Samos and Jak arriving back in the past at different times. For example, 2 years passes between when Jak arrives with Daxter in Haven City. However, when they finally find old Samos he states ‘I’ve added 6 rings to my trunk (6 years) waiting for you two’. This alludes to the idea that they all arrived at different points in time when their ship blew up. So it isn’t hard to think that the same could’ve happened to young Samos and Jak.

Honestly it's like you said, the story wasn't meant to be analyzed. However Jak 2 just created so many plot holes. My hope 1 day was for us to get a "from the ground up remaster" for the series instead of just more HD ports on ps4 and PS5, the point being to add more lore & fill in all the details to our questions. I too thought about if Kiera truly is Samos daughter but you're the first I've seen to actually talk about it.

But I'd also wanna know the same for Daxter parents, Jak & Ashlin mom's as well. Clearly something had to of happened to them but we just don't get what.

Oh well, just another mystery in the vault of unanswered questions for this *Depressed sigh* 😔

She probably lived in Sandover Village all there lives and at the beginning in The Precursors Legacy they act like it’s the first time they see her

I was thinking she was adopted but I also wish she came from the future as well and Daxter too but as a stowaway like a hitchhiker so they all kind of came from the future together the first time and then the second time at the end of jak 2.

Keira is samos biological daughter lol, she was born a year after samos arrived in sandover village(Past)

The cutscene you show doesn't prove that Samos is Keira's biological father.
Only that Samos considers Keira his daughter (obviously) and Keira considers Samos her dad (obviously).

You know I've thought about this since I was a young child playing these games and one thing that I'd just like to raise is that, as far as I remember, it is never implied that there are 'mothers' in this world. Though the creatures in Jak's world are humanoid, they are clearly not human and may actually reproduce in such a way that doesn't require mothers but only fathers.

A good example is the fact that Damos is Jak's father, Ashelin is Baron Praxis' daughter & Krew has a daughter but neither Jak, Ashelin or Rayn have mothers, nor is it even implied that they do.

This is why Jak II should not have happened. They made a dumb mistakes with the story.
