Kinda wish those Jalapeno Poppers were featured in the "What's The Best Jalapeno Snack? Taste Test". And yes, Pennsylvania is "Chip Country", and please do relocate to the PA state, lol!*

Pennsylvania native. Herrs chips are very good. They are available in Louisiana. My favorite is Snyder's of Berlin, specifically their BBQ. UTZ is also a PA brand and they became available locally when they bought a Louisiana brand called Zapps. PA is strong in the potato chip game.

During World War II C.E. Doolin made a deal with the U.S. Military to put bags of Fritos in the sea rations for the troops. It stayed fresh in the bag for months and the carbs gave a quick energy boost to tired soldiers. It also allowed Fritos to still be made despite rationing. After the war, the quartermaster called Doolin and said they had hundreds of tons of powdered cheese left over He gave it to Doolin free of charge and that is how he created Cheetos.

I'm from Herr's country and, my god, the Jalapeño Popper Cheese Curls are incredible. Definitely give them a try if you see them.
Also, had no idea they were a national product now. I thought they were like Sheetz and just available in, like, the few states around PA, lol.
