I was 10 years old when this movie came out. It was legit my favorite movie, this scene I watched over and over again. It's crazy to think that now I'm married, in college and yet this song/scene is still my favorite and makes me so emotional and giddy- it makes me want to break out my toothless action figure and fly it around the room again! For who else was this movie your favorite???!

If you notice the beginning is toothless’ theme and is at a higher tone, then when hiccup stands up his theme starts playing (0:40) and toothless’ theme fades out since the 2 aren’t on the same key. Later on hiccups theme fades and toothless’ comes back, separately, and the grand finale, is toothless’ theme and hiccups theme go to an octave that they both have and I just think that’s so beautiful
