Live on Patrol Highlight: 'Dangerous chase of a wrong way driver'

From the moment they go live, Bob and Pat come across other units pursuing a vehicle. Eventually the vehicle goes the wrong way up the highway. They are quickly stopped due to great coordination from the officers that responded.

Why would they "terminate it" on the entrance ramp? Two cars in front of him on their brakes would have stopped this 17mph car within the first 10 minutes

I know it’s dangerous but if you want to end it put a hole or two in the radiator…in a few minutes especially if they are driving hard the engine will seize up and they won’t be going far. Probably safer than letting the idiot go against traffic.

it must be hard to box a car in with multiple patrol cars when the fleeing car is initially doing 15 mph on a quiet road lets wait till it goes the wrong way on a freeway ...
