October 4th 1996. I played this song as I drove around the entire base of Cannon Air Force Base New Mexico at 4:30 in the morning. My last day in the military. I was driving home 1, 400 miles for good. I’ll never forget that dark morning. There was lightning illuminating the skies surrounding the Air Force base as I drove around it for one last time.
