This was a fantastic play. He smooth scooped the ball with one hand, took off running, realized he was trapped, and had the wherewithal to punt the ball 65+ yards. I think it was such a cool play they were like fk it, let it stand - forget the rules - this is a highlight

0:01 line of scrimmage was at the 21 (not the 20 as apparently some people thought), kick was blocked and dickson's second kick was right on top of the 21; you are allowed to kick the ball twice as long as you aren't past the line of scrimmage, ie the entire person has to be beyond the 21 for the kick to be illegal and you can look at 1:36-1:37 and you can see he's clearly punting the ball on the 21 meaning this is legal

NFL later explained that the ball never crossed the line of scrimmage so it is legal to kick the ball again. They also say his heel was on the line of scrimmage so his second punt is completely legal. What a GOAT. Either he acted out of pure instinct and got lucky or he read the entire NFL Rulebook as regards punting. Regardless this is just awesome for the brand. McAfee will be fired up tomorrow. I hope he'll invite Dickson as his guess.
