I’m glad her nephew got cleared. I didn’t believe he killed her. But a sentence of only twenty years! Ridiculous. I love Troy Roberts. You can see that this isn’t just a job for him: He deeply feels for the victims and their loved ones. And thank you, 48 Hours, for these shows.

It is disgusting that Michael's family turned against him. Just because someone is the "black sheep" of the family, doesn't make them a murderer.

20 years is just so unfair....He should have got life in imprisonment. Rip to Linda, she seemed like a kind soul who would do anything for her family and the ones close to her.

My mom is a retired banker who dealt with very wealthy clients. She always had the best stories about them from brawling teeth and knuckles at will readings to finding c*caine, loose diamonds, tons of cash and questionable pictures in their safe deposit boxes. She said if you want to see the rich and refined turn into common gutter trash throw some money in the air. 😂😂😂
People like Linda kind of set themselves up for disaster once they start and keep doling out money freely, especially to friends and family (and gigolos). People turn into straight vultures who you somehow owe in their minds.

The nephew suffered and still suffers from being accused . I’m very sad that his own family threw him under the bus. It goes to show that having a reckless lifestyle can catch up to you.
The Aunt was non judgmental and gave freely but it attracted a very bad character. I can not believe he only got 20 years!

I really love and appreciate the older videos. I don’t know what it is about the narrators, the quality of their narration and the visuals back then were on a different level. They definitely don’t make them like they used to like back in the 80’s til the 2000’s. RIP to all those that lost their lives🙏🏾

I don't think I've ever heard a more fake apology than the one the killer gave to Linda's family. 20 years seems like a slap on the wrist to someone who has proven themselves to be repeatedly violent and reckless out in society.

Funny, there are many many stories on 48 hours where a much older man is dating a much younger woman, and while they may note the age difference, they never label it as “INAPPROPRIATE. ”. Double standard, much?
