Her breaking a glass plate over that kids head was one of the most unexpected things I've seen in a children's movie when I rewatched this last year for the 1st time probably since it came out in 1996. I definitely laughed.

I love the lines "see you at lunch" "thank you cookie", in the book it says "many were guessing it had been filled with pepper or castor oil or some other foul tasting chemical that would make the boy violently sick, it might even be arsenic and he would be dead in ten seconds flat or maybe it was a booby trapped cake that would explode as soon as the cake was cut"
