How to Farm Chlorophyte in Terraria 1.4.4

Chlorophyte is an extremely useful resource from the moment you unlock it. Although there are countless farm tutorials scattered across the internet, I decided to share a design that i found quite appealing.

Although the wiki also claims that chlorophyte bricks spread chlorophyte as well but does not repeadt it counting towards to maximum? Can someone confirm if this is true because it would make a big difference to the farm design. (One could just place many chlorophyte bricks around each mud cell)

Chlorophyte is an ore that I end up with insane amounts of, and wonder what I can do with it. As a Summoner, these options are surprisingly few... but when you think about Chlorophyte uses in the perspective of the other 3 classes, you can't afford to miss this ore.
3/4 endgame armor sets require Chlorophyte. Beetle Armor is crafted from Beetle Husk and Turtle Armor, which is crafted from Chlorophyte Bars and Turtle Shells. (Warrior Armor)
Shroomite Armor requires Shroomite Bars to craft, which are pounded into existence with Glowing Mushrooms and Chlorophyte Bars.
(Ranger Armor)
Spectre Armor requires Ectoplasm and Chlorophyte... oh wait. Now you combine Chlorophyte Bars with Ectoplasm directly to make Spectre Bars for the armor.
(Mage Armor)
Spooky Armor has absolutely no ties to Chlorophyte, neither does Tiki Armor.
(Summoner Armor sets)
A few important weapons and milestones require Chlorophyte.
True Excalibur (24 Chlorophyte Bars, Excalibur)
Venom Staff (24 Chlorophyte Bars, Poison Staff)
I actually used the Chlorophyte Claymore back in 1.2, when you could get the Drax from Shadow Chests. It was terrible, but still good for the point you got it.
The Chlorophyte Shotbow is actually really powerful if you have Ichor Arrows, but I had a friend who took me out in a Lihzahrd Temple using Chlorophyte Armor, Chlorophyte Shotbow, and Chlorophyte Arrows.
Most people don't appreciate the insane power of Beetle Scalemail when you have the Set Bonus, neither do they understand that the Spectre Mask is actually better than the Spectre Hood in Legendary Mode... That's an unrelated point.
Chlorophyte is possibly the most important metal in the game, unless you are a Summoner.
Hallowed Metal is probably the most important as a Summoner, like Spooky Wood and Obsidian.
Chlorophyte has a ton of uses.
I can't say this enough, your house designs are extraordinary.
