MAVEN Is A GameChanger - YES!! - Waypoints

The Maven app for DJI Mini 2 is a GameChanger! YES it is!! I've already tested the TRACK function to find that it works very well. Here I test the Maven app Waypoints feature and discover that it is a GameChanger! I plan a mission while at my flying area, then set Lassie off to fly that mission. This video shows me planning the mission and the results of the flight. At the end of the video, I use Maven to manually fly around the mission path.

Great video Robert! I got the Maven app a couple of weeks ago and I am also very impressed with the information and the format of the screen. I’ve flown a few missions with it and then tweak it a little and then fly it again.

I recently discovered that I can use my VR goggles while flying my DJI Mini 2 using the Maven app. There is an option to use 3D goggles. I’m enjoying your videos. Cheers!

Another great production Robert. I was having a similar problem with Litchi about ending at waypoint 1, and I could see courtesy of your Litchi video that a line was drawn back to 1 whenever you added a waypoint. I found in the settening the "Finish Action" and a "Back To 1" button. Possibly a similar feature with Maven?

I've visited Scotland a few times, Knockhill, but never the West Coast. It looks like I missed out on a lot of your lovely scenery in particular Loch Doon.

I have been using Litchi to provide me with the same functions for 4 years. I especially like the ability to plan missions on Mission Hub with the large screen of y desktop.

I normally create my mission on Litchi on my mac then save as a CSV file then import that file onto my ipad then you add more fine detail once its on Maven.

I think it’s meant to turn as it’s traveling to the next waypoint, it’s kinda setting up for travel to the following waypoint, so their isn’t a turn with no movement when reaching waypoints.

I know this is an old video but one which tempted me to get Maven. However when setting up waypoints and running the mission, my drone didn’t start at the waypoint but almost 8 metres away. Had you experienced that before?

I'm told you can export your Litchi mission planned on PC at home to a CSV file and then import that file to Mavenn and go from there. I am desperate for the Android version of Maven as it looks better for me than the Litchhi app which I do currently use.

I am currently working on a Litchi Waypoints part of the app that is not highlighted in and YT videos that I can see.

Bit unrelated to the video but I've seen some mini2 motor covers advertised that are supposed to be able to let you fly in the rain, I'd love to see you test these if lassie was willing of course! 😂
