I honestly think the crater is fun, until you get high level. Being a humble survivor early on gives you a sense of accomplishment once completing something but when you are a higher level, you can just kill anything and everything.

What they should have done was allow you to have a second playable character on your base rather than crater character because crater is so stupid and not worth doing it I did it once when I hit 100 but never again afterwards

Yeah the crater proggress unfortunatly is based on if other people want to buy your stuff, with not a lot of players your just stuck at the start making like 100 fouls per week waiting for someone to buy a rope off of you
