To all the Bangladeshis. Jhal Muri has existed long before Bangladesh existed and originates from the streets of Kolkata, so the tag Indian comes in.

Its a common snack in Bihar and West Bengal, specially you will find it on trains. Almost every evening, I used to eat it as a snacks when I was there. Not only Jhal muri, there are many kind of 'bhuja'(s) are there people use to eat on daily basis specially in village areas.

Its Bengali street food, Neither West Bengal nor Bangladesh can take its credit singularly because this is theirs both. and to the people who are quarreling over it, "grow up, kiddos"
