To the girl that said LGBTQ are a large percentage of those leaving India. I live in a town near NYC with a sizeabale number of Indians who emigrated from Inida. None are LGBTQ. They all left for better pay, career development and a better life for future children they have. And they all seem to be from an affluent background/upbringing.

My entire family left India sometime 60-70 years ago and moved to Africa. They eventually left Africa and moved to the US about 50 years ago. I honestly have no idea why they all wanted to leave India, they never spoke of their time there. My grandmother is the only one who is still alive who had lived in India and all she told me was that there were a lot of cows. I don't know why, of all the things she could've told me, she chose to talk about the cows. Though I'm not really complaining, cows are cute.

High population doesn't mean poverty infact it means business are gonna boom, The real problem is most of the Indians see it as a problem and not a boon, lack of infrastructure, corrupt politician n media, low literacy rate, and a negative mentality of people is what's holding India back to be honest

I stayed is US for years but returned in 2022 . I was apprehensive and nervous as well but till now I can say I made the right decision .Everyone thought I was going crazy leaving US for India but the truth is that I felt no matter how good I do there I can never become an “American” . Also having your entire friends and family here made the decision little bit easier..

I’m in Canada and there’s so many people from India. I know some of them had a really good lifestyle in India- nice houses, good paying jobs, plus their family is all there. They had no reason to leave but they just want to be abroad.
