Greenpeace activists put black fabric on Rishi Sunak's mansion in oil protest

The campaigners said they had draped the Prime Minister’s manor house in North Yorkshire with an oily-black fabric to “drive home the dangerous consequences”.

They took the action as Mr Sunak and his family are away on holiday in California.

Mr Sunak has announced he plans to “max out” the UK’s oil and gas reserves by granting more than 100 new licences for extraction in the North Sea.

This is something most people can support. Just stop oil could learn from this, the public don't suffer, you get the media attention you want, you give Sunak something to actually think about and hopefully might inspire some positive action for climate change because it is an important issue.

This house will be up for sale as soon has he loses the election and then moves to his California home permanently- his kids have already secured their places at one of the most expensive schools in the world. I wonder if he flew to America by private jet??
