I've always liked Matt Dillahunty's answer to this.

What evidence would convince me that god exists? I don't know, but if your god exists, then surely he knows. And if he knows, and is omnipotent, he's perfectly capable of providing it. But instead of providing it, all he sends me are bottom-of-the-barrel apologists with arguments so bad that I feel embarrassed for the people making them, and sad for the people out there who believe them.

So, your god clearly has no intention of proving he exists to me, or to anyone else, with any decent evidence. That kinda makes your god sound like a jerk, doesn't it?

You know, it's funny, most of the things that had a supernatural explanation in the past, now seem to have natural explanations given to us by using the scientific method.
Never once, has it happened the other way around.
