You might want to look into water stocks and water ETFs because fresh water will be in great demand - more so than oil. You have to think like a Futurist. Also the agricultural "breadbasket of the world" will shift to Africa. What's now dry will become vast farmlands, due to the Grand Solar Minimum. One last thing to consider an emerging trend: 6G will advance Virtual Reality technologies. There's a race between Samsung (in Korea) and Chinese companies to dominate 6G in the years to come. I would go with Samsung because they have great products and more people trust them.

I'm no sure that "You'll Own Nothing and Be Happy" is software related.

I'm an engineer so I understand where you're coming from with the software subscriptions. I prefer to buy outright because then I'm subject to no one. Also, you end up spending more. Autodesk is one of the worst, in my view. You end up paying for a new version every 2 years from what I can tell. So instead of buying A'Cad every 4/5 years you're "forced" to upgrade every 2.
