I was at this race because I was invited to it. I attended a driver interview session earlier in the day. What people didn't know is that Rick Hendrick (owner of Hendrick Motorsports) attended a race for the first time since Daytona (Byron won that race). Rick Hendrick also drove the pace car for this race for the 30th anniversary of Jeff Gordon's innagural win in 1994. There's also a ton of numerology that favored HMS and Larson but I'll save it.

Gimme a break. Brad should’ve run out several laps prior. It was just a few races ago in Nashville that Larson was towards the front and ran out when they threw the green and was subsequently wrecked. So it’s not unheard of.
