3:10 – Van Tour Kitchen Area
5:20 – Camper Van Electronic Setup

8:55 – Van Tour with Shower and Storage
CAMPER VAN DETAILS:
Kitchen Area - This camper is equipped with a 12 volt refrigerator, which is perfect size for a week's worth of food and drinks that need to be kept cold. Additionally, there is a 2 burner stove built in to the countertop. On the other side of the camper van, there is a sink with an electric water pump. Completing the kitchen is all of the storage areas to store cleaning supplies, food, and paper products necessary for living the van life with a baby!
Van Tour Electronics - This VanCraft camper van is equipped with all of the electronics you need for an off grid van vacation. For starters, there are 8 LED lights along the ceiling of the van. Additionally, throughout the van are 12 volt USB outlets for charging phones and anything else. The most important part for van life with a baby is the 120 volt plug ins, which are powered from a built in inverter and battery set-up. This is necessary for sound machines, monitors, and many other things we need for traveling as a van life family. All of these electronics are powered by a solar panel mounted on the roof of the van and connected to a set of batteries under the bed!
Diesel Heater - This camper van is equipped with a diesel heater that is mounted beneath the van. the heater works extremely well, heating the van to a comfortable temperature even in cold, wet, and rainy/snowy conditions.
Van Bed - The unique part about this camper van's bed is that you can lay either horizontally across the van OR in parallel with the van. If you are over 5 feet 10 inches, then laying horizontally across the bed may be uncomfortable. If that is you, you can pop the bench cushion up and change your sleeping orientation, which gives more than enough room for people 6 feet tall and up.
Camper Van Shower - At the back of the van beneath the bed there is a shower! The water heater is powered by a propane tank that easily attaches, and gives you hot water for your camping shower!
Van Tour Storage - The thing about this van is that there is SO much storage. In the kitchen area, there are many drawer and cabinets with storage space for anything you need on a day-to-day basis. Around back beneath the bed, there is a GIGANTIC storage area, which is great when you are traveling the van life as a family. We needed strollers, car seats, pack-and-plays, diapers, wipes, sound machines, monitors, clothes - and that is just for the baby! We also needed our stuff - good thing we had the storage!
FREE CAMPING SITE:
We found an incredible free campsite in the Buena Vista area of the Rocky Mountains! Free camping is the BEST reason to live the van life - you can have a beautiful view, and not lose some of the comforts you have at a regular campsite, with water & electricity built into an off grid van.
We use iOverlander to find free campsites! it is the best crowd-sourced app & website for finding free campsites around the world.
