Healthy Apple Pie Cookies🤩 These cookies are perfect for fall🧡 These are a yummy dessert or snack idea😋

This makes about 12 cookies:
1 cup (gluten-free) oats (240 ml)
1/2 cup (gluten-free) oat flour (120 ml)
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons olive oil or melted coconut oil
1 egg
1/2 cup apple puree (120 ml)*
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 diced red apple*

1. Mix the dry ingredients together
2. Add the wet ingredients and stir to combine
3. Fold in the diced apple
4. Scoop the cookies on a baking pan lined with parchment paper
5. Bake at 180 Celsius degrees (350 in Fahrenheit) for 10-12 minutes


*Apples are high-FODMAP, so if you are on the elimination phase of the low-FODMAP diet, replace the apple puree with a mashed banana and the diced apple with blueberries/dark chocolate chips☺️

These look SO much better than the last apple-oat cookie recipe I just watched. Not even any flavoring or sweetness in the last one. Can't help but think those taste like cardboard while yours probably taste like Heaven, lower east side.

What could I use instead of maple syrup? Would liquid Stevia work? I’m trying to limit added sugar if possible.

Can you do this with lectin-free ingredients for inflammation reduction and weight loss? Like sorghum or hemp seeds? Instead of oats. Gluten is one kind of lectins which causes all kinds of inflammation from farting to serious auto immune diseases like diabetes, Alzheimer's, and speed up cancer growth.

Please use flaxseed instead of egg. Simply mix 1tbsp ground flax with 3tbsp water and let sit for 5 minutes to replace 1 egg. Chickens have the right not to be exploited and killed. As a bonus this recipe will be healthier, with much less cholesterol, and healthy fibre and omega 3 fats and lignans in the flaxseed. Thank you

That things definitely have 500 calories or so, so no they cannot be healthy. Stop talking like you are a certified dietician. Just say you make home-made cookies
