Unless you’re letting a homeless person live with you I’m not interested in your protest. Live your principles

I ran a business in LA, and I’m moving because the homeless have been sanctified here. You can’t run a business around this. I see the encampments selling drugs, prostitution, stealing from the community members, and local businesses. After my customers vehicles began to be broken into on a regular basis, I got tired of it. The upsetting part, a majority of the individuals are of sound mind. They are choosing to live this way because of the incentive structures put in place by all these do-gooders at the council meeting. Seems they are only capable of protesting. How about you have an actual proposal. Don’t just say give them homes. How? Where? Who pays for it? How much does each person pay? Thoughts, prayers, and feelings don’t replace a sound plan and policy. They are also failing to realize many people refuse housing when offered. People are not blocks of wood that just go where you tell them.

The open air latrine that California has become is disgusting. Kids have to go to school...at least allow them the safety to be protected from the very real sanitation problems associated with the campers.

So they want kids to experience paraphernalia, human waste, overdose, and violence?

We need to give our unhoused neighbors free housing….and free cable, free internet, free food, free clothes, free healthcare, free transportation, free alcohol, drugs, cigarettes.

Make it 1000 ft and require work homes for housing.

The good thing about being homeless is you can fold up your tent and move it 500 feet.

Get them off the damn sidewalks/alleys. Put them elsewhere until housing and help can make a change for them. Make them work for what ever they receive.

I totally feel bad for those that lost their homes or just can't afford to rent an apt. However, The homeless people are so filthy and leave crap all over the place. Is it so hard to clean up after themselves??? REALLY!!! I don't blame the county or residence for wanting them out! it's filthy out there. Have they taken a good look at how they live? Some of them are in that situation because they don't want to work for a living and looking for a hand out instead of a hand...I get that they are homeless but do they have to be filthy as well. Theres a word called PRIDE in ur self... I was homeless as well but didn't live like that.

The homeless druggie problem was caused by the legalization of Marijuana. All you had to do was look at Amsterdam where legalization was tried and what happened there. Im ok with the weed, but legalization without proper education has caused people to cross over to the dark side of recreational drug use not understanding the risks.
