Hey guys it’s Seth. I wanted to say thank you Nolan for trusting my with your car. It’s been a blast so far and I’ve got some big things planned for it. Growing up this was THE car for me, so it’s truly been a dream come true. Thank you to everyone at donut for showing me around and hanging out, I had a blast.

For anyone who has an 05-09 S197 and has the door panel issue, first remove all of the yellow foam behind the vinyl, and then use spray adhesive. Removing the foam helps it stick better.

This is an important point for younger car folks. MODIFYING YOUR CAR DECREASES VALUE. So many times I see folks trying to recoup the cost of mods in the sale price. Be smart, put it back stock before selling and pray your buyer doesn't look over the car with a fine toothed comb.

That thumbnail with Nolan and "goodbye" the heartattack was real.

I used to work at a detail shop. The owner, Rudy, would guarantee any customer who was selling a car could get 500 bucks extra if we detailed before they sold it. In 3 years, not a single person ever came back. A solid detail is a huge boost

Starting out with "all good things must come to an end" is wild.

That Mustang was one of the most important cars in Donut history. It was THE car that really lead to Donut's rise. I think the "Sleeping in my Car for a Week" was the turning point for Donut

I feel you, Nolan. When I sold my SRT-4, it was incredibly tough. The guy practically had to pry the keys from my hand. To anyone else, it was just an SRT-4, but to me, it represented countless memories and hard work. Every spot on that car reminded me of a moment—whether it was a friend helping out, my dad lending a hand, or a memory made along the way. It's crazy how we can become emotionally attached to an inanimate object, but we certainly can.

Everyone does videos modifying cars, Nolan drops a video de-modifying his car. Brilliant! Sick tee, bro.

Used coilovers are great for a project car to just have around.

I once owned a beautiful Chevy k5 blazer, 4 speed manual 350v8, lifted 2 inches on 35 inch tires. it was a beast on and off the road and rolling into town with the top off was always a blast and the thing turned heads literally everywhere.
I had just gotten all of the rust fixed when a bad breakup put me in a depressed state of mind where I sold off/traded alot of my really cool stuff, including the blazer. I almost immediately regretted it and do still to this day. I have a k10 shortbed that sortof fills the void...but man that blazer was my dream truck. My dad had one that I grew up riding in, and I was so happy when I was finally driving one that I could call my own.

That truck still hurts to think about, to this day. Id go into debt, sell everything I own...to have that truck back. Sadly the guy I sold it to resold it almost immediately, and has no idea where it is today.

Update: I found a truck that fills the void...and then some. I couldn't stop thinking about my blazer after writing this comment, so I set out to replace it. After searching forever, A guy I knew of and live close to reached out to me with a feeler for a truck he was looking to sell.

It's a 1996 Chevy Tahoe 2 door with barn doors. Bone stock with the 350v8/4l60. Push button 4x4. He is the original owner and it has 148k miles, mostly highway as he bought it for his fairly common western hunting excursions.

Needless to say, I bought it sight unseen. And man did I luck out, for a Pa truck it has practically zero rust. He took good care of it. The only rot was in the rear fender wells on both sides, I got the fixed the week I bought it. Next on the list is getting the frame and undercarraige sanded and repainted.
I've taken it on two 300 mile road trips already. I gotta say, it's better then the Blazer.

I guess the moral of the story is, use regret as a motivator to reclaim your dreams, instead of letting it get you down.

Never have I thought that a 188k mileage Ford Mustang with lowering springs and a trunk lip listed on FB marketplace for 7k by some guy called Nolan Sykes would become a video posted by a channel with nearly 9 million subscribers!😂

My first vehicle was a 2000 Ford Ranger 4.0 OHV. My grandfather bought it for me before he passed. I drove it through high school and college and on. Countless trips with my friends. Did a lot of hunting and fishing out of it with my dad. I became a man in that little truck. For 14 years it never let me down. Hurt to sell it. But we grow and so do our vehicles.

I share this same feeling Nolan. I had a 2006 Mustang that was gifted to me from my grandfather. It wasn’t the perfect car either as it had twice the miles yours had and it too had an oil leak and the vinyl was falling off among other things. Being young and dumb the car ended up in a ditch and that was the last time I saw the car. What hurt even more was that my grandfather passed away a couple months later.

It's a very surreal experience to watch a video starring Nolan, then switching to him doing the sponsor, THEN getting an ad also starring him. Dude is all over the place lol
