My son was 101st Screaming Eagle through a couple tours in Afghanistan, now a civilian. We couldn't be more proud to see them come to WNC to lend a hand.

🇺🇲♠️ Serving our own. Protecting our own. This is how you get recruitment up! Show the American people, we are warriors but we have hearts as well. We serve them.

Love and respect to our troops. I know ya'll have been here for NC. Please know people of Appalachia, especially in the hills and hollers have big hearts but can be very private, proud of wary towards newcomers. It's our history. I'm proud of our country, proud of our troops, proud that we as a nation have access to federal funding during this catastrophe. I pray NC hillbillies (I can say that, I am one) will open up to your help. Shine on, troops!

As a former uS Army Veteran this makes me proud to have served and see that the torched has been passed honorably. Too bad it took so long for them to get out there but happy to to see them.

Video updates like these should be flooding the airwaves to let people know help is being given out. No more long speeches by politicians. People need help like yesterday. Media organizations should focus more on this. May God keep our soldiers, emergency workers, and those affected safe. Great job, 101st Airborne! Hooah!! 💙💙💙💙
