Make a Polymer Clay Feather Cane - Watch Along - Speed Build

Here's another speed build - watch me make a cane for work - thing. This time I'm doing my variation on Donna Kato's oldie-but-goody tutorial at Polymer Clay Central, an OG clay tutorial site.

The tutorials are older but it's what I started out with when I hopped on the internet and found other clayers way back!

This is Premo periwinkle, white, and antique gold for outlines but you can get a decent lavender with about 1 part fuschia and 3 parts turquoise clay.

LINKS

MUSIC
- selections from "Unicorn Heads" in YouTube's audio library. They're fun!

GEAR
I record with old cell phones & a Canon M50. I edit with Adobe stuff.

I love that everything isn't perfect and symmetrical at every single step. There are rips and fingerprints and thin spots. I feel so SEEN by this! And yet it still turns out beautiful. I've only been doing clay for about a month and I need to learn to be more accepting of the imperfections. Thanks for not editing it to perfection. It's much less intimidating this way.
