You only really need CAT6, but considering your wifi speeds, i assume your pulling way less then a gig down from a ISP, which even then CAT5e would still perform the same as a CAT8. There is only a few multi gig devices that can go over a gig. But most devices are capped at gigabit because the device port is maxed at that.

Dude you really don’t know shit about network cables. Cat8 is so unnecessary unless you’re running multi-gigabit speeds across longer distances. Even Cat6e can do 10 gigabits which is like over 100 times the speed of your connection lmao 😂
