"Good morning, YN, " I manage to say, trying to hide the sudden rush of emotions that caught me off guard. "Looks like you two are having fun."

YN sits up quickly, a blush spreading across her cheeks. "Oh, um, sorry if we woke you. He's just such a sweet kid."

I nod, trying to regain composure. "No need to apologize. It's nice to see him happy. Just came to check on him."

She smiles warmly, her eyes meeting mine briefly before she looks down shyly. "He's been great. We were just playing a bit before breakfast."

I clear my throat again, hoping to steer the conversation away from my obvious distraction. "Well, I'll let you both get ready. Breakfast will be in about half an hour."
