I was dreading setting up this printer. I haven't had to setup a printer up since 2005, also I had read this printer was especially a pain in the butt to set up: but I followed your directions step by step and was up and printing wirelessly in less than 10 minutes. One thing I would like to add is, I found it easiest to put the ink cartridges in first, and then set up the printer. Also have the Canon Print Ap downloaded and ready to go before starting setup.

Thank you it works I got a new T-Mobile 5G router. I deleted the app because it recognized the old setup and changed to 2.4 setting just in case. Now will do other devices and switchback to 5G.

I spent 2 hours on the phone with my brother and we finally got it figured out. The problem was that our son had hooked up a "Booster" system so the WiFi would reach all corners of our house and it required another internet WiFi connection. We disconnected that and went back to our original WiFi connection and we were successful in hooking up our printer then
