I'm one of the bizzare cases where my coding is stronger than my building skills lmao. Notice I didn't say my *scripting* was any good, either though... I've had a very small amount of experience with Lua compared to python and C++, and although my multi-paradigm skillset and system level perspectives are improving, I'm having trouble getting thru the weeds of all the different built in stuff in roblox. I know it'll come with time and digging thru documentation online, but do you have any tips for discovering which Roblox systems or studio features & services I *should* be using/learning for a script?

@SmartyRBX Help pls. great vid btw. im new and following the steps but i hit a wall. I found some free textures but it not applying it like on the vid. i downloaded a block of textures, right clicked and selected children and i get a whole lot of dots in the middle of each square not like your vid tho. as i follow the steps i think its putting all of the textures into the piece. can you help me figure out what im doing wrong, i would like to complete the turorial.. :(
Also: the same thing is happening to me when i try to move an object, it rotates to its original place. how do you stop that from happening?

not trying to hate, but if it was a video on teaching someone to build wouldnt you expect to make him build something on his own? like the lobby he built is beautiful but shouldnt he be able to make the assets that make the lobby beautiful on his own instead of using an asset pack?

One of my biggest problems is making the blocks wayyy toooo big I dont realize I do until I test it then I grab a block avatar or my avatar, like one of my in dev roblox games the lobby was way to big then what it was supposed to be.
